Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Thursday, Oct. 7, 1954

Mrs. Eva Walter, 91, died Thursday  morning at 9:30 at her home at 30 Vosper 
street, Saranac.

She was born May 21, 1863 in Berlin township, the daughter of Andrew and 
Caroline Lane. She was married to Fremont Walter, November 3, 1886, who died 
March 16, 1939. She has lived in her present home for the last 27 years. 

Surviving are one son, Homer, of Boston township; four daughters, Mrs. Florence 
Rehorn of Alexander, N.Y., Mrs. Blanche Miller of Saranac, Mrs. Ida Greenhoe of 
Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. Cassie Good of Clarksville; one brother, F.E. Lane 
of Hastings; eight grandchildren. Another daughter, Mrs. Jessie McCrodan died 
in 1924. 

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
