Daily Sentinel-Standard - Monday, Aug. 22, 1955

Walter Dunlap, 82, of Ronald township, Route 1, died Sunday afternoon at the 
Hawley Convalescent Home where he had been a patient since April 1, 1955. He 
was born October 1, 1872, at Lancaster, Pa., the son of James and Susan Dunlap. 
He came to Ionia in  1919 where he has since resided. 

Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Maggie Riley of Chester, Pa. His wife, Cora, 
preceded him in death in September, 1954.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Myers funeral 
home. The Rev. H. S. Ellis will officiate and interment will be at North Plains 
cemetery.
