Nov. 5, 1931 AGED CLARKSVILLE WOMAN PASSES AT HOME WEDNESDAY Mrs. Alonzo Walter Survived By Six Daughters And Four Sons Mrs. Alonzo Walter, aged Clarksville resident and mother of 14 children, ten of whom are now living, died at her home in Clarksville, on Wednesday, November 4. Mrs. Walter was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Cushman, well known as pioneer settlers of the village of Lowell, and was born near that place on November 15, 1860. Her surviving children are six daughters, Mrs. Lewis Whitback, Clarksville; Mrs. George Stoner and Mrs. Harry Stork, Ionia, Mrs. R. Lake, Belding, Mrs. B. Shellenberger, Manitou Beach, and Mrs. William Ellsworth, Middleville; and four sons, Russell and Charles of Clarksville, Fred of Saranac, and Christian of Fenwick. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at two o'clock from the Wesleyan Methodist church of Clarksville, with rev. E. Bedell officiating.
