Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. May 3, 1962

Wilbur W. Walters Died last Monday
Wilbur W. Walter 91, passed away at Pennock hospital, Monday night. He had been a 
patient there for six weeks but had been hospitalized intermittently for several
months.

He was born in Odessa township and his parents were early settlers, Andrew and Mary
Barkdull Walter. He was a retired carpenter and had lived most of his life in the
local area.

Surviving are his wife Marie, a daughter Mrs. Wallace (Elgie) Shroll and a son
Clifford, both of Lake Odessa; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service were held on Thursday (today) at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel
with burial in lakeside cemetery.
