PARALYTIC DIES AFTER MANY MONTHS OF SUFFERING
Seven Years Resident of Lake Odessa. Funeral at Residence. 
Burial in Boston

Henry Walter was an invalid for months but was confined to his bed since August 
16th from Paralysis.

He moved off his farm seven years ago and came to lake Odessa where he has lived 
since. Besides his wife he leaves two grandchildren who lived with them.

The funeral was held at the residence on the Boulevard Sunday at 9:30 and the 
body was taken to South Boston for burial.

OBITUARY

Henry A. Walter was born in Hancock county, Ohio, November 3, 1844, and departed 
this life February 22, 1923, leaving a widow, is the father of three children, 
Ellsworth of Clarksville, Vernon of Detroit and a departed daughter, Mary.

He settled on his farm in South Boston township in 1866, living there until 
seven years ago and coming to Lake Odessa, his parents home. 

Besides a widow and two sons, he leaves to mourn three brothers, two sisters and 
five grandchildren. 

For nearly four score years and ten, 
Our husband and father, neighbor, friend. 
Has borne the toils and cares of life,
Battled with sin and pain and strife,
But now he sleep, Oh! blessed sleep,
While we are left our loss to weep.
