Lake O. Wave, Wed. Jan. 7, 1981

SARANAC- Homer A. Walter, 93, of 8547 Morrison Lake Road, died Thursday at Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct. 7, 1887 in Saranac, the son of D.F. and Eva Lane Walter. He 
married Hattie Dausman, Nov. 22, 1911, in Ionia. She died Nov. 20, 1953.

He lived and farmed in the Saranac area all of his life. He was a past member of 
the Odd Fellows, past member of the South Boston Grange.

He is survived by his son, Leon, of Saranac; a daughter, Mrs. Lois Bustance of 
Clarksville; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Miller of Saranac, Mrs. Cassie Good of 
Portland and Mrs. Ida Greenhoe of Florida; four grandchildren; and six great 
grandchildren. Two sisters preceded him in death.

Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac with the 
Rev. Kenneth Hill officiating. Burial will bein Saranac Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives today from 2-4 and 7-8 p.m.
