                               CHRIS WALTER

SHERIDAN-Chris Walter, 72, of 8368 Town Hall Road, Sheridan, died Monday at 
Amarillo, Texas.

Born at Clarksville January 20, 1903, he was the son of Alonzo and Emma Walter. 
he had farmed and lived in Bushnell township, Montcalm county, since 1929.

He was a member of the Dad's club of Sheridan VFW post. In 1927 he was married 
to Beth Hoy.

Besides the wife, he leaves a son, Robert Walter of Sheridan; three 
daughters,Mrs.Maxine Yaw of DeWitt, Mrs.Yvonne Wagner of Bath and Mrs.Janice 
Feyerabend of St.Johns; 11 grandchildren; brother, Russell Walter of Midland, 
and a sister, Mrs.Zella Ellsworth of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Stebbins-Simpson Funeral Home 
at Sheridan. Rev. Raymond Flessner will officiate and interment will be at Sunny 
Hill Cemetery near Palo.
