Ionia Daily Sentinel, 19 Nov 1951

Services for Fred C. Walter of Morrison lake, a Lowell Feed store operator, 
were conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Roth funeral home in Lowell by the 
Rev. George L. Rentschler, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Ionia.

He died Thursday, November 15, at Blodgett Memorial hospital after suffering a 
heart attack at the home of his son, Bruce, in Lowell Thursday, November 8, 
where he stayed for a few days due to inclement weather.

Bearers were Homer and Fred O. Walter, Warren and Raymond Chadwick, James 
Ziegler and Ray Alexander.  Mr. and Mrs. K. Arthur Rivett, Mr. and Mrs. Loyal 
Hodson and Mrs. Lee Lampkin were in charge of flowers.  Mrs. Evelyn Wittenbach 
of Lowell was organist.  Interment was in the family lot in Saranac cemetery.
