Ionia Sentinel Standard, 23 Sep 1968

Rev. Robert McComb officiated at funeral services Saturday afternoon in Ionia
for Mrs. Bertha M. Walter who died Thursday.  Organist was Mrs. Harry Stauffer.
 Interment was at Saranac cemetery.

Bearers were grandsons, Bruce Chadwick Walter, II, Jon Walter, of Lansing, Craig
Walter of Ann Arbor and Robin and Peter Walter of Lowell and John Cansfield of
Cassopolis.

One grandson, Lt. Gene Walter who is stationed at Sharpe Army depot, Lathrop,
Calif, was unable to attend as he is leaving for Vietnam within a month.  He
visited his grandmother recently.
