Ionia County News - 11 March 1926
David H. Walters, 84, pioneer blacksmith of this city, died at his home at 413 
North Dexter street, Saturday night, following a lingering illness.  The cause of 
his demise is given as infirmitives of old age.  For many years Mr. Walters 
conducted a blacksmith shop on South Steele street.  The funeral was held on 
Tuesday afternoon with interment in Higbee cemetery.  He is survived by his widow.
