WALTERS, EVA (LANE) (MRS. DAVID FREMONT):
   IONIA SENTINEL STANDARD, MI, 10-7-1954, front page:  "Mrs. Eva Walter, 91,
died Thursday morning at 9:30 at her home at 30 Vosper Street, Saranac.
   She was born May 21, 1863 in Berlin Twp, daughter of Andrew and Caroline
Lane.  She married Fremont Walter November 3, 1886.  He died March 16, 1939.
   Surviving are 1 son, Homer, of Boston Twp, 4 daughters, Mrs. Flornece Rehorn
of Alexander, New York, Mrs. Blanch Miller of Saranac, Mrs. Ida Greenhoe of
Jacksonville, Florida, Mrs. Cassie Good of Clarksville, 1 brother, F. E. Lane of
Hastings, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
   One daughter, Mrs. Jessie McCrodan, died in 1924."
