Ionia County News-Thurs. March 18, 1954

MRS. EVA WALTMAN
Mrs. Eva Waltman, 88, died at the home of her son, Prof. Clare Waltman, in
Lexington, Kentucky, Tuesday, March 16, after a long illness.

Mrs. Waltman had been a resident of Berlin township most of her life until she went
to Lexington to make her home with her son, about ten years ago. She was an aunt of 
Harrison Sherwood who died in Tampa, Florida, February 24, and of Mrs. H. M. Maynard
of Ionia, who died last Saturday and was buried Tuesday. She was a member of the Berlin
Center church.

Funeral service for Mrs. Waltman will be held at two o'clock Saturday afternoon and
burial will b in Balcom cemetery beside her husband who died in 1931.
