The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Wednesday, April 24, 1912

The funeral for the late John H. Walton was largely attended this afternoon 
from the residence on East Washington street.  Among those from out of the 
city who were here to attend were several of the employees in the Wyoming 
shops.  The services were at two o’clock and the floral offerings were many 
and beautiful.
