Rev. F. H. Blunt officiated and the impressive Episcopal service was used. Music was by the Episcopal choir. The attendance was large, including besides the neighbors and other sympathizing friends of the family, large delegations of railroad shopmen, Elks and Knights of Columbus, who marched together, the fraternal feeling between the orders being greatly strengthened by the events of the past few days. Young Walton was one of the bright and likable young men, who had just entered upon a promising career and whose death is most deeply deplored. The bearers, selected from intimate friends of deceased, were: Max Culehen; Claude Dumont, Wm. Mitts, Mathew Bradley, Cecil Alden and Glenn VanGiesen. Interment was in Highland Park. Friends present from out the city included: David Vaughn and Miss Blanche Vaughn, South Bend, Ind.; J. B. L. Hinds, Hammond, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Church, Clarksville; Miss Gertrude Munger, Greenville; Mrs. Hendershott and Miss Alice McQuillan, Lyons. Card of Thanks: Words are feeble to express our appreciation of the many kindly offices of friends in this time of sore affliction. The sympathy has been a solace we can never forget. We can only hope that such trouble may never come to you. Mrs. J. H.
