Carl G. Walts Passes Away

Carl G. Walts, 79, lifelong resident of Woodland and retired farmer, passed away 
Saturday night at the Barry County medical Facility, where he had been a patient 
for two weeks. He married Rona Culler, March 17, 1940 and he had retired three 
years ago. 

Surviving are his wife, a stepson, Bridsell Holly of East Lansing and two 
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Pickens Funeral Chapel 
with burial in the Woodland Memorial cemetery. Rev. Laurence Lowell officiated.
