Services Held for Rebecca E. Walts

Mrs. Rebecca Elizabeth Walt's, 77, of Woodland passed away Saturday afternoon at 
Pennock Hospital, Hastings, where she was hospitalized since March 24.

She was born in Shannon county, Missouri, July 11, 1892, the daughter of John J. 
and Viola (Renfrow) Hesterly and came to the woodland area with her parents when 
three years old. She had been a resident of the Woodland area most of her life 
and was a practical nurse.

Mrs. Walts was a former member of the United Brethren and the Cheerful Club.

Surviving are a brother, Chester Hesterly of Lake Odessa, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 Tuesday at the Pickens Funeral Chapel, Lake 
Odessa. Rev. Wilbur Williams officiated with burial in Woodland Memorial Park.
