Ionia Sentinel - 29 November 1924
Daniel Wandel, a resident of Ionia county for many years, died suddenly 
Wednesday evening about 10 o'clock at his home in Berlin township.  When he 
retired Wednesday evening Mr. Wandel seemed to be enjoying good health.  He was 
taken ill suddenly and death soon followed.  Mr. Wandel, who was born August 
25, 1847, was a little past 77 at the time of his death.  Mrs. Wandel died 
about four years ago.  Mr. and Mrs. Wandel were farmers in Easton for many 
years.

He is survived by five step children and one own son, L. J. Wandel whose home 
is at 445 State Street.  The funeral will be held from the home of his son, L. 
J. Wandel, 445 State Street, Saturday afternoon at 1:30.  Rev. C. J. Kruss will 
officiate.  Burial will take place in Easton Cemetery.
