           OBITUARY

   James Wandel was born at Ionia, Mich., January 8, 1865, and died at the home of
L. C. Beghold in Lansing, 
Mich., March 20, 1917, following an operation for strangulated hernia, at the age of
52 years, two months and 
12 days.

   He was married January 1, 1893, to Maude Stine of Lake Odessa, Mich., who with a
son Howard and family, 
and many relatives and friends are left to mourn.

   Those from out of town who attended the funeral were; Mrs. James Wandel, Howard
Wandel and family, 
Owen Bennett and wife, H. Troutner and wife, of Lansing, Fred Stine of Jackson,
Frank Stine of Detroit, Dan 
and Guy Stine of Altona and Mrs. A. Hanna, son Eugene and daughter Mrs. Elizabeth
Renz of Ionia.
