Colleen Kay Wandell age 45 of Ionia passed away December 19, 2006 in Grand 
Rapids. She was born February 14, 1961 in Lansing the daughter of (Bud) Burton 
and Carolyn (Durbin) Stencel. She graduated from Ionia High School in 1979. 
Colleen married Mike Wandell February 14, 1981.
 
Colleen is survived by her loving husband of twenty five years, Mike Wandell 
of Ionia; mother Carolyn and Leo Thomas of Ionia; sons, Todd and Teresa 
Wandell of Middleville, Tyler Wandell of Ionia; sisters, Debra and Jake 
Springstein of Carson City; grandchildren, Clayton, Mason and Weston whom she 
dearly loved.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Rev. Kendall Harger officiating. Interment Easton Cemetery. The family 
will receives friends and relatives Thursday 4-8 PM at the funeral home. 
Anyone wishing may make a memorial contribution in Colleen’s name to family 
choice.
