Ionia Daily Standard, 9 Jul 1898

James H. Wandle, Sr., died this morning at 4:30, at the home of his son James,
at No. 720 East Lincoln avenue.  He was aged 64 years, and had been more or less
of a sufferer ever since coming out of the war.  His illness of the several days
preceding his death was severe and painful.  The funeral will be attended from
the above home, at 1 p.m. on Sunday.  Interment in Highland Park.
