Ionia Sentinel-Standard – Thurs. Feb. 8, 1962

Stanley Wapienik, 80, died early Wednesday morning at his home in Standale.

He was born in Poland in May 1881 and came to United States in 1907 settling in 
the Standale area. He spent most of his life farming and retired several years 
ago.

Survivors include his wife, Anna; one son, Frank Wapiennik of Ionia, three 
daughters, Mrs. Mary Frydrych of Chicago, Mrs. Stella Diedrich of Sand Lake and 
Mrs. Anthonette Radspeiller of Grandville; 11 grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.

Service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Allendale funeral home at 
Allendale. Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial cemetery in Standale.
