The Ionia Standard, Friday, January 15, 1892

Mrs. Marcia J. Ward died Sunday, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Henry 
Jackson, Easton, of old age, being 91 years old.  She was a pioneer resident 
of Easton township, coming with her husband in 1844, and settling on the 
section where they lived many years.  She was the wife of Wm. W. Ward, long 
ago deceased, and grandmother of Frank E. Ward of this city.
