Funeral rites were held Sunday at the Fitzjohn Funeral Home for Harry C. Ward, 
87, who passed away at Traverse City Thursday, with burial in River Ridge 
cemetery.  Death was caused by pneumonia.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Viola Wright of Stanton, Nellie Clouse of 
Howard City, Mrs. Ethel Wright of this city, Miss Effie Ward of Chicago, Miss 
Ada Ward of Detroit, and Mrs. Hazel English of Grand Rapids, five sons, William 
and Don of this city, Bernard of Greenville, Sam of Saranac and Robert of 
Kalamazoo, 32 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
