On Monday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Stahlin Shannon and Mrs. Kate Shannon attended 
the graveside services at Easton cemetery for Hiram Ward, 57, of Dansville, who 
passed away very suddenly.  He had left his home only ten minutes before to 
drive to town when his wife was notified of his death.  It was thought that he 
had a heart spell and lost control of his car.  His boyhood home was near 
Haynor and Ionia and he was a nephew of Mrs. Shannon.
