Services Held For Belle Ward

Funeral services for Mrs. Belle Daniels Ward, 73 of Marcellus, a former Sunfield 
area resident, were held last Friday at the Mapes-Fisher Funeral Home at 
Sunfield, officiated with burial in the Sebewa Baptist cemetery.

Mr. Ward passed away Dec. 31, in a Paw Paw hospital.

She was born in Mecosta county, April 23, 1900, the daughter of James and Cora 
(Ludwig) Catlin and had resided in the Sunfield area until 12 years ago. 

Mrs. Ward was a member of the United Methodist Church. 

Surviving are her husband; 5 sons; Verle Daniels of Tarzana, Calif., Virgil 
Daniels of Farmington, Wash., Charles Daniels of Wichita, Kansas, Gerald Daniels 
of Grand Ledge and Duane Daniels of Marcellus; three brothers, Forest Catlin of 
Florida, Arlo Catlin of Lansing and Jack Catlin of Grand Ledge; a sister, Thelma 
Piercefield; 24 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Burr (Moneita) Jackson and Laverne Daniels, local, are a sister-in-law and 
brother-in-law of Mrs. Ward.
