Raymond L. Ward, 64
Raymond L. Ward, of Temperance, Michigan, 64, left this earth on March 18, 2021. 
Ray spent most of his adult life working with and for credit unions. His 40-year 
career started as a collector at the CU in Ionia, Michigan, and ended as CEO of 
a credit union in Grand Rapids. Ray is survived by three sisters, Sue (Ward) 
Dunn of Holt, Michigan and Sandi (Corky) Ashworth of Enterprise, Alabama. He was 
preceded in death by his parents Solon (Al) and Bonnie (Kirby) Ward, two 
brothers, Ed Comer and Eldon (Pinky) Ward, and four sisters,Audrey Markham, 
Helen McArthur, Dolores Hough and Bonnie Lou Miller. Ray was also preceded in 
death by his grandparents and all of his aunts and uncles. Ray is survived by 
many nieces and nephews and was closest to three, Jillann Colter, Kari 
Williamson, and Tracy Danks. At Rays request, he will be cremated and there will 
be no memorial services. Should anyone wish to make a donation in Ray's name, 
please donate to the National Kidney Foundation or the charity of your choice.
