                        OBITUARY

                LEAH BLISS-WARD

   Leah Irene Bliss, daughter of John and Inez Bliss was born in Odessa township,
November 21, 1896 and died 
April 2, 1918, aged 21 years, 4 months and 12 days.

   Her school days were spent at the Algodon school.

   She was married to Alger Ward of Lakeview, November 22, 1916 and the young couple
have made their 
home with her parents.

   She is survived by her parents, her husband and her infant daughter, Stella
Irene, besides a host of other 
relatives.

   Being of a quiet home loving disposition, she was best known in her home
community where she was loved 
and respected by all. She was an accomplished musician and always willing to use her
talent for the pleasure 
of others. 

   She will be greatly missed by her many friends and her memory will ever be
cherished.



"Beautiful toiler, thy work all done,

 Beautiful soul, into Glory gone

 Beautiful life with its crown now won,

       God giveth thee rest."



   The funeral services were held at the home of the deceased's parents last
Thursday forenoon. Rev. I, H. 
Mourer preached and Mrs. Bert Mourer sang, and she was tenderly placed in her last
resting place.

   The parents and husband have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.

   We wish to thank the neighbors and many friends who assisted us at the time of
the sickness and burial of 
our wife and daughter, Leah, also all who sent flowers and those who furnished
music.
