  Excerpts from Grand Rapids Obituary

     Ben F. Ward

Died Sunday August 27, 1944-age 51 accidentally electrocuted at the Extruded 
Metals plant when he caught a live wire to save himself from a fall from a 
scaffold.
Survived by the widow, Ruby; four daughters, Mrs.Alfred Harper of Belding; 
Kathryn, Evelyn & Geraldine at home & son Gerald at home.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 Wednesday at the Fales Funeral Home in 
Belding.
Burial in River Ridge Cemetery in Belding.
