Tuberculosis entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ward of this city for the 
second time within a year and claims one of their children.  Their nine-year-
old son succumbed to the plague last spring and Eula Eleene died this week at 
the Ann Arbor hospital.  She was five years old and had been seriously ill 
with tuberculosis and stomach trouble for many months.

The funeral service was held from the Bradley chapel on Tuesday morning, with 
Rev. C. J. Kruse in charge.  Interment was made at Tuttle cemetery.  There are 
six children surviving at home.
