Sentinel-Std. - Thursday, July 17, 1986

IONIA- Phyllis J. Warden, 61, of 513 Cyrus Street, Ionia, died at Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital Wednesday, July 16, 1986. She was born in  Gratton 
Township on September in 1924, the daughter of Myron and Louva McNaughton.

She was graduated from Belding High School in 1942. She married Richard L. 
Warden on August 27, 1947, in Ionia. She was a member of the Ionia Country 
Club.

Survivors include her husband, Richard L. Warden: two sons, Robert L. Warden 
and James R. Warden, both of Ionia, three grandchildren:: two sisters, 
Barbara Bradford and Marilyn Cory, both of Belding: several nieces and 
nephews and one sister-in-law, Carley Vanhetloo of Belding.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Montgomery-Roetman 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Mavis Hale of Grace Baptist Church officiating. 
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at Montgomery-Roetman Funeral Home Friday from 5-8 p.m. A 
memorial has been established for the Ionia County Unit, American Cancer 
Society.
