Sentinel-Standard - Saturday, May 31, 1941

Word was received in Ionia Friday of the death of Eugene Wardle, younger brother of

Clarence H. Wardle of Lafayette street. Wardle died very suddenly at his home in 
Detroit early Friday morning. He had been in poor health for some time.

Surviving is a sister, Jessie, of Detroit, and the brother, Clarence. 

Funeral services were held Saturday morning in Detroit and grave services where 
conducted at Highland Park cemetery Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Henry a. 
Hanson officiated and the grave ritual of the Elks lodge was performed.
