Lowell Ledger, 10 Oct 1946

Stephen Ray Ware was born in Boston township, July 30, 1873 and died in Lowell,
October 2, 1946, aged 73 years, 2 months and 2 days.  In the year 1900 he was
married to Miss Gertrude Deming of Freeport.  Twenty-five years ago they moved
to Lowell, where they have since resided.  Two children were born to this union,
a daughter, Mrs. James Elliot of Davison, Mich., and a son, Milford, of Lansing.
 Surviving besides his wife and children are four grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; one half sister, Mrs. Ora Doty of Lake Worth, Fla.; also a
sister-in-law.  Mr. Ware was a good man and highly respected by all who knew
him.  His passing was sudden and very unexpected.  The summons into the eternal
world came while he was at work in his field.  Funeral services were held at
Roth Chapel Saturday at 2 p.m., Rev. C. E. Pollock officiating.  Interment in
South Boston cemetery.
