Ionia County News - Thursday, Nov. 30, 1939

People in Sebewa were saddened to learn of the death of one of their former 
residents, Mrs. Julia Waring of Kewadin. She was the oldest daughter of John 
and Mary Goodemoot of Sebewa where she was reared and where she later taught 
school.  She just recently passed the 82 year mark.

She is survived by two daughters and two sons, Russell Waring of Lake 
Odessa, Homer Waring of Kewadin, Mrs. Fred Andrew of Alden and Mrs. Clarence 
Oatley, of Kewadin: five grandchildren: a brother, George Goodemoot and a 
half-sister, Mrs. Belle Knoll, both of Sebewa.

Funeral services were conducted Friday from the home at Kewadin with burial 
at Elk Rapids.
