He was born near Whitehall, and married Eva Dye, of Campbell township, in 1891, and resided at Barryton for one year, later moving to a farm northeast of Lake Odessa, where he died yesterday. He was signalman for the Pere Marquette railroad for 13 years, and worked for the state highway department for some time. Surviving are the wife, Eva Warner; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Yaw, of San Francisco; and five sons, Marion Warner of Mason, Walter Warner of Mt. Pleasant, Frances Warner of Pewamo, William Warner of Lake Odessa, and Niel Warner of Sunfield; one brother, Rupert Warner, of Ionia; three sisters, Mrs. Susie Stout of Orleans, Mrs. Gussie Lyons and Mrs. Lucetta Peacock of Barryton; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Baptist church at Sebewa, with burial there.
