Warner, Jr., 82, of Belding passed away Sat., Aug. 4, 2001 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. He was born April 6, 1919 in Ionia, the son of Delmer and Eva (Ryan) Warner. Delmer was a lifetime independent trucker, retiring in 1986. He was married Aug. 10, 1940 in Ionia, to Evelyn Beach and she preceded him in death on Jan. 7, 1995. He was also preceded in death by his parents; two step brothers, Dick Warner and Mike Warner; one brother-in-law, Clarence Beach. Delmer is survived b his children, Lavonne (Ed) Moss of Belding, Joyce Sower and special friend, Charles Berthume of Belding, Darlene (Fred) Lange of Lyons, Richard D. (Connie) Warner of Belding and Arnold (Linda) Warner of Ionia; his loving and constant companion, Harriet Rose; her children, Bruce (Linda) Rose of Carson City, Nev., Chuck (Connie) Rose of Belding, Paul (Marylu) Rose of St. Petersburg, Fla., Beck Buttrum of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Miriam Sanford and special friend, George Harcek of Perrinton; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; his brothers, Robert Warner of Belding; James (Donna) Longhurst of Rockford; his sister, Joan Kopf of York, Penn.; sister-in-law, Beverly Beach of Orleans; three stepsisters, Marjorie Gibson of Belding, Dorothy Martin of Cadillac and Virginia Vawter of Woodville; one stepbrother, Bob Warner of Maine; two step- sisters-in-law, Lucy Reeves of Orleans and Violet Shultz of Grand Rapids; and step-brothers-in-laws, Victor Hull and Fred Hull both of Ionia. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Belding with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Interment will be in River Ridge Cemetery. Visitation was on Monday at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church or the First Congregational Church.
