The Ionia Standard, Friday, April 24, 1896

Oliver Warner, a single man 34 years old, was killed by a runaway team, at 
McCord, a station in Kent county on D. L. & N. railroad, Friday.  The team was 
frightened by the cars, throwing Warner out, and under the wagon, inflicting 
injuries from which he died about ten hours later.
