April 12, 1933 Funeral services for George H. Warner will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, 126 West Lincoln avenue. Services will be in charge of Dr. Paul L. Stewart and burial will be in the Saranac cemetery. Mr. Warner was born in Canada June 29, 1870, and died at his home April 10, 1933. He came to this country at the age of three years with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ja___ Warner. He had always lived in the vicinity. Farming had been his occupation until 12 years ago when he came to Ionia to work at the Michigan reformatory where he was employed for six years. November 20, 1924, he was united in marriage to Miss Nina D. Servoss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.D. Servoss. After he had been married three year he was stricken with paralysis on New Year's Day and remained in a helpless condition until his death. During the first years of his illness he never ceased to hope that some day he might regain his health sufficiently to share the burden that fell so heavily on his companion. He leaves the widow; a brother, William of Orleans; besides several nieces and nephews, and many kind friends who came often during his illness to help him pass away some of the long hours and leave words of encouragement.
