Ann St., passed away at her home on Thursday, August 30, on her 85th birthday. She was born in Kendallville, Ind., August 30, 1871 and had lived in this city 44 years. She had been an active worker and member of the Free Methodist church for 50 years. She was married to Charles Broadhead, February 22, 1892, and to this union were born seven children, two daughters having passed away. Mr. Broadhead died August 19th, 1919. She married Martin Warner April 29, 1924. He passed away in 1945. She is survived by one son, Claude Broadhead at home and four daughters, Mrs. Guy (Helen) Lozo at home and Mrs. Howard (Irene) Brown and Mrs. Keith (Isabelle) Cory of this city and Mrs. Carl (Harriett) Albin of Blissfield; one brother, Oren Lehner of North Star and 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. The remains were at Fitzjohn Funeral Home until noon on Saturday when they were taken to the Free Methodist church were funeral services were held at 2:30 with Rev. Lawrence Gibbs of Grand Rapids, a former pastor here, as the officiating clergyman. The burial was in the old Belding cemetery beside her husband. Her grandsons acted as the pall bearers.
