Michael Alan Warner, age 55, of Saranac passed away Nov. 8, 2013, in Grand 
Rapids.  He was born Sept. 25, 1958, in Hastings, Mich., the son of John and 
Gloria (Womboldt) Warner.

Michael graduated from Saranac class of 1976.  He worked at Lack's in Grand 
Rapids for 24 years.  He loved to spend time with his family.  Michael had a 
big heart and to him family always came first.

Michael is survived by his mother, Gloria Ponce of Ionia; daughters, Kay 
(Steven) Shade of Saranac and Jackie (David) Bartosh of Saranac; special 
friend, Kristi Kent of Saranac; step children, Jeremy, Erin, TJ and Michael; 
brother, Jack (Debbie) Warner of Cascade; sisters, Cathy (Mike) Morgan of 
Lowell and Shawn Warner of Grandville and grandchildren, Shelby Shade, Rally 
Shade, David Bartosh, Liberty Bartosh and Dayton Bartosh.  He was preceded in 
death by his father John.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at Saranac 
Community Church with Pastor Becky Poor officiating.  Visitation will be 11 
a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lake Funeral Home of Saranac.  
Memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to Saranac Community 
Church Food Pantry.
