RITES TUESDAY FOR JOHN H. WARNER
John Herbert (Bert) Warner, 74, passed away at Pennock Hospital, Saturday evening,
where he had been a patient since Thursday following a stroke. He had been ill about three
years and had been a patient at Percy Jones hospital, Battle Creek several years ago.

Mr. and Mrs. Warner moved here from Grand Rapids in 1937 where he worked as a
painter until retiring because of ill health.

He was a Spanish-Amerian war veteran.

Surviving are his wife Mary, a son Herbert of Moira, N. Y.; a daughter Mrs. Donald
Krim of Detroit and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 at the Pickens chapel. Burial was in
Lakeside cemetery with Rev. A.J. Pitman officiating.
