Catherine Warner, 87, of Clarksville passed away at Heartland Health Care in 
Ionia March 2, 2003.  She was born November 20, 1959 in Boston Township, the 
daughter of Samuel Eddison and Rose (Roth) Tucker.  She attended Clarksville 
Schools.  Catherine went on to marry R. C. (Chet) Warner in Indiana April 22, 
1931, who preceded her in death on July 21, 2002.

She as a homemaker who enjoyed her family.  She also enjoyed camping, fishing, 
quilting making and playing cards.

She is survived by sons Thomas E. and Delores (Dee) Warner of Kentwood, 
Chester J. (Jim) and Frances M. Warner of Lowell, William (Bill) and Ellen 
Warner of Ionia; Daniel C. and Darleen Warner of Scotville; daughter Carolyn 
and Earl Benedict of Saranac; daughter-in-law Dorothy and Gary Smith of 
Jenison; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great 
grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons Gary Warner in 1973, 
John (Jack) Douglas Warner in 1983; grandsons Chester James Warner in 1972, 
Charles Benedict in 2001; and two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Rev. David Flagel officiating.  The family will receive friends and 
family Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the 
funeral home.  Anyone wishing may make a memorial contribution to Ionia 
Commission on Aging or Ionia Area Hospice.
