April 23, 1931 MRS.JACOB WARNER DIED SATURDAY EVE. Resident of Lake Odessa 32 Years. Funeral Tuesday Afternoon. For two years Mrs. Jacob Warner has not been very well and all winter her health has been steadily failing but was not deemed seriously ill until within the last three weeks. Saturday she was taken worse and died Saturday evening. She was born in Sebewa township sixty-nine years ago, July 17, next. Her name was Ella Irene Martin. After her marriage to Jacob Warner they lived at old Rosina, later moving to Woodbury, and thirty-two years ago they moved to Lake Odessa where they have since made their home. She leaves besides her husband, three daughters, Mrs.David Leak, Miss Maud Warner and Mrs.Rose Irwin, a twin of Mrs.Irwin's, a daughter Lillie, died about twenty years ago. There are three grandchildren, Keith Leak, Miss Dorothy Leak, and Donald Irwin. The funeral was held at the home Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Thomas Laity, a former pastor, assisted by Rev. O.F. Bulman, the present pastor, conducted the services. Burial was at Lakeside Cemetery. The pallbearers were John Griffin, Jason Peacock, Charles Lapo, Barney Oatley, William Shellhorn and William Sweitzer. Those in attendance from out of town of which the following are nieces and nephews were, Mr.and Mrs A.E. Norris and Mr and Mrs Harry McCullouch of Detroit; Mr and Mrs F.E. Martin, Flint; Mr and Mrs Roy Norris, Lansing; Mr and Mrs J.B. Norris, Grand Rapids; Mr and Mrs William Martin, Ionia and Mr and Mrs Henry Martin Dimondale. Aside from these were Mr and Mrs Howard Lawrence of Ionia and Mr and Mrs William Brummeler of Grand Rapids.
