WARNER AFTER LONG ILLNESS Dies of Cancerous Troubles. Leaves wife, Parents, Brothers and Sister. Burial in South Boston. Thomas Warner, son of Mr and Mrs.Walter Warner, northeast of Lake Odessa, died last Thursday after a lingering illness of cancer of the stomach. Mr Warner was in service at Camp Custer one year. He was an older bother of Ruth Warner-Yaw, well known in this village, having finished our high school in 1918. OBITUARY Thomas Oliver Warner, son of Mr and Mrs Walter T.Warner, was born in Sebewa township, March 1st, 1893 and died March 15, 1928, at the age of 35 years, 14 days. He remained at home until the age of twenty-five years, where he served one year in the army at Camp Custer. He was then united in marriage to Lois Fleming in June 1919, and since that time has made his home in Grand Rapids, Michigan, until his last illness when he came to Lake Odessa. He leaves to mourn their loss, his wife, parents, Mr and Mrs Walter T.Warner, one sister, Mrs.Ruth L. Yaw, late of San Francisco, Calif., five brothers, Marion, Walter B., Francis, William and Neil, all of Lake Odessa and many other relatives. The funeral was held at the Calvary Church., Sunday, March 18th, Rev. M.H.Dawson preached ad a quartette-Leon Gilson, Merlin Morgan, Wm.Gilson and Burt Mourer, accompanied by Mrs.Leon Gilson furnished the music. Burial was in South Boston cemetery.
