February 22, 2025 WARNER Joy Beth Warner age 80, of Ludington and Clarksville passed away February 27, 2025. She was born November 11, 1944, in Ionia,Michigan, the daughter of Thomas A. and June G. (Goodell)Warner. Joy grew up in Saranac and went to Saranac Community Schools graduating with the class of 1963.She retired from the former Hadley Center at Memorial Medical Center in Ludington where she worked as a Psych Tech for many years.Joy attended the Clarksville Bible Church and was a deeply spiritual person. She was an avid reader, birdwatcher, crocheter, cad shark, and life-long learner.Once she was interested in something she would take a class on it or research whatever it was she was into at the time.Joy was a great cook and would preserve and can food for her large family. Family was very important to her, and she was always great about calling or leaving voicemails. She ended every conversation with a hug, a kiss, and an "I Love You." Surviving are her children, Allyson Noall, Meredyth Althaus, Lorrayne(Tim) Carless, Janyne Althaus, Sharmayne Althaus, Carol (Wendell) Johnson, Chris Shimmel, LeeAnn Elyse Shimmerl, Wesley(Joleen)Althaus and Heidi (BJ)Anderson; grandchildren,Laurie (George)Eldred,Jeff(Heather)Noall,Kristie(Brian)Beech, Tim(Jessica)Noall, Kimmy Noall, Alicia James(Shumaker),Joey Hasenjaeger,Jacob (Yiting)Carless,Jacque(Gage) Denney, Jason((Drew) Carless,Karah(Taylor) Kornoely, Kyle (Kailey)Smith,Charles Ewing IV,Cheyenne(Jeff) Parson,Kenzie Johnson,Keegan Johnson, Dallas Ward,Kelby(Juju)Ford,Elizabeth Althaus, Brrett Althaus, Evelyn Althaus, Troy(Taylor)Althaus, and Fisher Andreson; Great grandchildren, Soraya Noall, Mason Eldred, Hannah Shumaker, Harper Shumaker, Hayden Shumaker, Delaney Noall, Leon Carless, Gill Denney, Akoda Kornoely, Hudson Smith,Evelyn Smith, Wyatt Parson, Paisley Parson, Jett Parson, Athena Althaus and Alexander Noall. Bonus children, Jaimie Heath(Stewart)and Kish Johnson along with their children, sister, Blanche(Dan)Hale.Sister-in-law Joyce (Con) Hofstra. Nephews Ron Hale and Steve (Abbigail)Hail. Joy is also survived by the many other children she opened her house to that consider her a second mother. In addition, she leaves behind numerous life-long friends. Joy was preceded in death by her parents and brother Bob Tucker. Memorial services will be at the Clarksville Bible Church on Saturday, February 22 at 12:00pm with Pastor Tim Bateman officiating. Visitation will be at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac on Friday February 21 from 4-7 pm and also, from 11:00-12:00 am at Clarksville Bible Church preceding the service Saturday. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to St.Jude's Children's Hospital or Clarksville Bible Church.
