Elaine N. (Yeiter) Warnes, 89, of Ionia, passed away April 17, 2014, in Grand 
Rapids.  She was born Sept. 15, 1924, in Lowell the daughter of Lloyd and 
Lottie (Vosburg) Yeiter.

Elaine graduated from Lowell High School in 1942 and later married Vern Warnes 
in Lowell on June 19, 1949.  She was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 64 years, Vern Warnes of Ionia; son, John 
(Carol) Warnes of Lake Odessa; sister, Elizabeth Wittenbach of Lowell; sister-
in-law, Betty Yeiter of Lowell; grandchildren, Brandy Barr, Zachary Warnes, 
Jacob Warnes; great-grandchildren, Mario, Vincent, Edie, and De'Angelo.  She 
was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 22, 11 a.m. at Lake Funeral Home 
in Ionia.  Visitation on Monday, April 21, 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  
Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be 
made in Elaine's name to the St. Johns Episcopal Church in Ionia.
