Ionia County News - Thursday, March 22, 1962

Harry G. Warnes, 68, of Route 1, Sidney, died on March 21, following an 
illness of three years. He was born on August 25, 1893 in Norwich England, 
the son of Mr. and Ms. Charles Warnes and was a retired Michigan Reformatory 
employee. He is survived by  his wife, Golden: one son, Vernon: one 
daughter, Ms. Richard (Eileen) Coates: two grandchildren: two step-
daughters, Mrs. John Erridge and Mrs. Wayne Kenyon, both of Ionia; eight 
step-great-grandchildren;  one brother and two sisters, all of England.

Funeral services are Friday, March 23, at 2:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home 
with Rev. Wilfred Sawyier officiating. Burial will be in the Sheridan 
Cemetery.

the family of Mr. Warnes will be at the Funeral Home on Thursday evening 
from 7:00 to 9:00 pm to receive friends and relatives.
