Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 13 Mar 1964

Elisebeth J. Warnke, 78, died at 11 o’clock Thursday evening at her home at 623
North Jackson street.  She had been ill the past 10 years.  A nurse and lifelong
resident of Ionia, she was born April 3, 1885, the daughter of William F. and
Agusta Beilow Warnke.  She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran church and
Lutheran Women’s Missionary league, and a life-member of American Legion auxiliary.

Surviving are a sister, Selma with whom she made her home; a brother, William of
Ionia; a nephew and two nieces.

Funeral service will be conducted that St. Johns Lutheran church Monday at 2
p.m.  The body will be at Boynton funeral home until time of service.  Interment
will be at Highland Park cemetery.
