The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, January 24, 1940
Funeral services for Mrs. Augusta G. Warnke, 76, who died at her home, 623 
North Jackson street, Saturday morning, January 20, of a heart attack, were 
held from the home at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon and at the St. John’s 
Evangelical church at 2:30 p.m.   Rev. R. A. Rook conducted the services and 
interment was in Highland Park cemetery beside her husband, William Warnke.

Mrs. Rena Kitson, Miss Hattie Kosbar and Miss Minnie Rubach were in charge of 
floral decorations.  Bearers were Fred Rubach, Emil Rubach, Louis Speckin, 
William Miller, Fred Meuller and Paul Schipper.
