Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Jun 1992

Alida Warnshuis, 92, formerly of Ionia, died Sunday at Butterworth Hospital in
Grand Rapids.  She was born, the daughter of Teunis and Minnie Wayenberg Prins,
June 18, 1899, in Sioux Center, Iowa.  She attended the Holland High School and
also attended Butterworth School of Nursing.  She married Henry Warnshuis, in
Holland in 1922.  He preceded her in death on November 25, 1988.  She was a
member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ionia.

She is survived by one son, Paul of Greenville; one daughter, Mary Flint of
Ionia; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and one sister Anna Pyle
of North Muskegon.

Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, at Balcom Cemetery, with the Rev.
Mark Keely officiating.  The family will be at Cook Funeral Home from 3:30 to 4
p.m. Wednesday.  A memorial has been established for the First Presbyterian
Church Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
