Mrs. Emma L. Warren, 85, died Thursday evening at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. Frank Judevine, 418 Taylor Court, where she had made her home for the past 
35 years.

She was born April 27, 1869 at Freeport, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles 
Knight.  In 1876 she was married to Edson Warren at New Lathrop, near Owosso.  
Mr. Warren died in 1943 at Savanah, Ga.

She had a career in the nursing profession as long as her health permitted.

Mrs. Warren is survived by her stepmother, Mrs. Levina Knight of Loma Linda, 
Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Bible of Rising Fawn, Ga., Mrs. Frank 
Judevine of Ionia, and Mrs. William Hofstar of Loma Linda, Calif.; one half-
brother, Jesse Knight of Loma Linda, Calif.; 13 grandchildren, and 26 great 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 3:30 at the Stone-Kauffman 
funeral home.  The Rev. Court O. Adams will officiate.  Interment will be in 
the Balcom cemetery.
